"Oh, It's 'StitchCraft'"
Just got done watching Oxygen's new program called "StitchCraft," hosted by Lily Chin. Fast-paced show, loaded with ideas; sure to get the ideas flowing. I'm really in withdrawal, though, from "Knitty Gritty," which is in reruns for the next little bit on the DIY network. Vickie Howell really rocks the knitting world, and I cannot believe how much I have learned from watching her show.
I don't have pictures ready for the blog yet, but WIPs include cupcake kid hats, a baby sweater, and my masterpiece--a knit tote featuring green and purple geckos! I knit for someone who works in an insurance company, and we all know the popularity of the gecko in the world of insurance.
We just got a knit, crochet, and quilt store in town. I'm so excited to be able to talk about my "LYS" along with everyone. Our shop is very cool, has very reasonable prices, and the owner is a man who quilts and crochets. Talk about coolness!!!
That's all for now--I hear the geckos calling my name.
